What do I get next

My wife and I have decided that we will get $500 dollars a piece as our present for clearing all of our debt later this year. What do I get next if anything.

I currently have:

Gun: Rounds:
Stoeger 20ga O/U 300 bird shot 50 slugs 50 buck
CZ75 9mm 500 rounds FMJ
Remington 700 30-06 300 rounds FMJ 4x16 Scope
Ruger Mini-14 .223 400 rounds FMJ 4x Scope
Remington 597 .22LR 5000 rounds 4x Scope Great little shooter.
Kel-tec ? .32 (Pocket Pistol) 75 rounds (This gun is old and beat up) It is a hand me down my wife got from her godfather...

I know I need more ammo but are there any holes in my inventory? Besides a bunch of friends to help me shoot my guns?

How many magazines do you have for each weapon that takes mags? Do you have all the slings, holsters, and other accessories you need to use your guns at the best possible level?

Be sure to pick up some hollow point ammo for that CZ 9mm; other than that you might get a setup to do reloading so you can make a lot more ammo more cheaply. If you'll still get a bit of money for the gun budget in the future that could make it go a lot further.

An M1 Garand (since you're already into .30-06). And take the scope off the mini; it's your only combat rifle and you need to learn to shoot it with iron sights.

Full Metal Jacket? Get some soft point hunting ammunition for that rifle. While you can hunt with FMJ come collapse, you may be chasing your game far further than you really want to.

You seem to be suffering a bit from excess calibers..

How is your storable food? Do you have a seed vault? A great pair of shoes? water purifier? I don;t know your personal situation but as I see it you have a huge arsenal that seems more than enough for what you would require in a SHTF scenario.

A duplicate arsenal for your wife

And a few spare firearms to arm friends and neighbors. Maybe a revolver or two as barter items.

All very good advice.

I live in a suburban neighborhood but I have a location that I can get to that the family owns on a secluded lake in a bugout scenario.

I have water purification tablets...but no filter...my wife is a water treatment engineer and she says that she can devise a filter like macguyver and I trust her so I am going with that for now.

I have enough vegetable seeds for a 2 acre garden but no grain seeds.

I only have enough food for 5 people for a month.

I have several clips for each gun that requires one but no extra choke tubes for the shotgun. I have holsters, slings...etc.

Sounds like I need anything but another gun huh?
