I recently purchased a Taurus M608, and I must say that I'm quite happy with it. While I do have some semi-automatics, I love the simplicity and inherent reliability of a revolver. The Taurus M608 is a 357 magnum revolver with 8 round capacity, and is available in 4, 6.5, and 8.5 inch barrel configurations (stainless and blued). I personally own a stainless 6.5 inch model with a ported barrel, and it is an absolute pleasure to shoot. Until recently I thought that Smith and Wesson were the only boys in town who made an 8 shot 357 revolver, but I now stand corrected. I've seen Taurus take alot of flak on the internet, but I must say that I've enjoyed each and every Taurus revolver that I've owned (not to mention they are affordable!).
