Re: Solar Oven Cooking

An extremely belated Thank You to Optimus for your post ... very generous of you to take the time. I finally tried baking bread and it was indeed YUMMY! Soft and nicely browned ... just delicious. To be more honest, I have baked bread three times now in the sun oven. The first time it turned out pretty good, so I got overconfident and tried a more elaborate type of bread the second time ... it was dreadful!!! :) So I went back to my original recipe and it turned out fabulous. Anyway, I really just wanted to post the "thank you" as your tips were very helpful!

I'm glad you enjoyed the bread! I just copied that info from another source. I will do a better job next time of proper acknowledgement. Sometimes I just get lazy.
