yep - i think august - January is the target window to roll out rationing/martial law

Iran cut its oil imports to France and the UK yesterday.
I said to my soul, be still, and wait without hope
For hope would be hope for the wrong thing; wait without love,
For love would be love of the wrong thing; there is yet faith
But the faith and the love and the hope are all in the waiting.

Re: Saudi Arabia Cuts Oil Output?

Funny and an unsettling feeling when I read that...funny because we've all been together discussing this for so long. Now that the moment is upon us, I felt a literal shockwave of...fear?...slice through my very being. Wow. It was at least of a feeling of realization... Realization that the things we have talked about are really, truly going to happen and there's nothing we can do to stop it. Yea, yea, I know...I know. It's not as if I didn't know it was coming. But now that it's here, wow. For the first time ever, I think I'm feeling a noticeable level of fear regarding this subject.

Can I get an "Amen"?

By the way, ETA, the other day somebody posted a video or link to a video with a Saudi official (or was it OPEC) that Saudi oil prodution had peaked in 2009. I meant to bookmark it to check out later as I was on my way out the door but I guess I didn't. Can someone lead me to that post please? Thanks!

Ah-men! I am kind of envious in a way of you who have been knowing about all this stuff. I've only known for a year and a half or two, to the deep degree I can understand. So it's been full-on throttle for me the past year and a half. Sometimes, I guess I wish it would never happen, then sometimes I wish it would, just to get it overwith, and now, I don't know. I am just doing things to enjoy life as much as possible, and keep an eye toward the future, and any thing else I can do to prepare. But I always keep in mind the present moment. Being in the present moment, and tossing out anything I can that interferes with claiming a sense of peace and well-being in the present moment. That's not easy to do. I find myself consciously working to put things into perspective, and prioritize, on a daily, and sometimes hourly, basis.

I was about to post pretty much the same thing until I saw your response, PM. I really can't add anything to that except to say that I think all-is-sun is going to be just fine. And it's really all about preparing one's mind for what is surely coming and keeping a cool disposition and perspective. My perspective is that peak oil is a good thing. After all, oil is finite and we're going back to a simpler way of life, where we belong. I am hopeful and looking forward to the future.

You guys are really good people. And Foster too! (Got a little friendly scolding about being stoned  , which is exactly what I needed for that particular moment...).

So we're all just figuring out shit. And I re-read my post because you guys responded. And I found something really, really funny! I'll highlight below the parts I found funny. They were totally unintentional, but I know someone out there might get a laugh out of it, and if i can help someone find laughter, then i know today was very worthwhile.

"Sometimes, I guess I wish it would never happen, then sometimes I wish it would, just to get it overwith, and now, I don't know."

Last highlight just threw in there for consistency. I'm a little fried, taught for 8 hours again today, which is really good. And now when I teach, I teach from my soul, regardless of the course content. I try to connect to the person's soul. Does that make sense to anyone?

Well, anyhow, thanks for the really nice feedback and support. Let's do the best we can. :D

Well, you know what the Surrealists said about automatic writing, that it brings out the unconscious. :D
