- The same census shows that Blacks are on the order of 13% of the US population. So anything above 13% of them being on food stamps is
disproportionately high by definition. Last time I checked, 26 was double 13, unless the Liberals have come up with a newer New Math.

- I'd argue that a prime mover in keeping twice the relative number of blacks at the food-stamp level of society is racism on the Left. I don't think for one moment that the fact that some of our ancestors took a more direct route from Africa to America than others means that the melanin-gifted are any less capable of making their own way in the world than anyone else.
