MSM: We'll Decide the Election, You Idiots!
.
- Now I know full-well that which clown they put in the yellow coveralls doesn't change the flavor of the burgers, but I have to admit that there's one guy in the Presidential race sideshow that doesn't make me want to beat on him with a heavy piece of rebar...

- So I find it pretty darned interesting to see the mainstream media just plain, openly decide who the "frontrunners" are, with total disregard for the voters and the process...
- At this point, there hasn't been a single primary or caucus. So all the candidates are technically even at ZERO nomination voters. The polls have shown Ron Paul either winning or in a dead heat for Iowa, the first caucus... Yet the press has constantly referred to Gingrich and Romney as the frontrunners. Based on what?
- Based on the fact that most of the media are partisan Democrats who know that Gingrich, a thoroughly unlikable asshat with a record that stinks to high heaven whether you're looking for "conservatism", ethics, fiscal responsibility, or moral character, cannot beat their champion Obama. They'd LOVE to have Gingrich win the nomination.
- Worse yet, Fox news, representing the Republican minority in the MSM, are mostly Gingrich-like asshats themselves, so they're pulling for their buddy to get the nomination. Failing that, they'll settle on Ward Cleaver... They'd hate to have Ron Paul come along and remind everyone what rational Conservatism really is and rock their boat. So much easier to be able to claim "Conservatism" without actually having to live-up to it.
- Still, the baldfaced arrogance. Trying to dictate the "winners" openly. (Sure, they've always done it. But they used to at least be a little subtle.) Even going so far as to argue that, if Ron Paul wins Iowa, the SYSTEM IS ALL WRONG!
