I think this should be a required reading for newbies, one way to avoid going through all the same debates over and over, as seems to be the case once again, with some people thinking the present situation is just like the 1890s.

Nice simple presentation. Should be required reading across the world...hmmm, probably wouldn't work, huh? At a bare minimum, it should be required after every lying, fact-destroying, piece of crap bs message from any and all industries/societies touting the 'vast abundance' of energy available in the US. Every time I see one of those commercials, it makes me feel nauseous. Why do we seem to be the only people who can so easily see through the obvious facade of BAU? The ONLY thing these commercials seem to be fairly screaming to me is this: "HOLY SHIT! WHAT CAN WE SAY SO THAT PEOPLE WON'T CATCH ON TO WHAT'S COMING?!?!?!"

Nice one! I bet some of the kool aid drinkers will look at the end of the primer, and wonder why there is no happy ending.
