Re: Grocery price monitor

Prices for everything from baked goods to simple commodities have skyrocketed at the grocery chain I work for. Customers have been complaining, and most people are going without certain items simply because the prices are getting outrageous.

I fear a huge tidal wave coming... :(

If I knew somebody cooperative at a grocery store, I'd scrounge the spoiled produce for my compost bins; and the empty food grade containers from their bakery and deli.

You could go and talk to them. Make friends with them. Tell them to give you a call before they're tossed (here they get tossed in compost bins behind the store. A couple of buddies used to go through the bins. Now, the bins have locks on them).
